The Beauty in Champagne

New Year's resolutions must be kept. I promised to post a couple of model photos inspired by champagne. This drink is forever associated with glamour, partying and beauty. I often use champagne (or other bubbly if I'm poor) as part of my photoshoots.
I borrowed the idea from the tradition that the classic champagne cup had been shaped after the French queen Marie Antoinette's breasts. Even in modern times, beautiful women's breasts have been used as inspiration. A few years ago, Karl Lagerfeld created a champagne glass for Dom Pérignon shaped after Claudia Schiffer's breasts.
Natalia is one of my favorite models. We have shot in Prague and in the Camargue and I have visited her in Rome and she has been to Hällsö. These photos were taken in the small French village of Causses-de-Veyran. Natalia has a natural beauty combined with humor, joy, intelligence and she is in love with the camera. And she likes champagne.
